This study has presented a study of structural and technical change in thegrowing process of Korean agribusiness sector using decomposingchanges(input-output model) in the period of 1985∼1995. Compared with the othersectors, total output and growth rate of agribusiness sector is low.In the agribusiness sector, the growth rate of total agricultural productionis decreasing but the food processing sector and knowledge and informationsector is increasing.The source of structural change in the agribusiness sector was more dependenton changes in final demand. But the cause of decrease in the agriculturalproduction sector was technical change due to changes in input-outputcoefficients. In order to develop agribusiness sector, the linkage effects ofthese sectors have to maximize.
