In resent years, our society has changed dramatically. Consideringastonishing changes of the society, the trend will be accelerated until the newworld comes.The new society will be fundamentally different from the currentsociety. It will be the society pursuing a sustainable development. Thedemand and role of the forest resources and forestry will be expanded in the newsociety.This study prepared new tasks of forestry in order for satisfying thenew and growing demand and role of forest resources and forestry in the newsociety.The main concepts of the new tasks are the creation and conservation ofsustainable forest ecosystems, forestry and its related industries raisedas high-tech industries, and providing various services for abundance in peopleslives.
