일본과 대만의 농외소득정책의 실태와 시사점

This study provides several applications about non-farming income throughreviewing both the Japanese and Taiwanese cases of non-farming income sourcesand related policies. They are faced with problem similar to Korean's.The characteristics of the Japanese case are to try to assure income viagovernment supports in the regional base rather than farm household base and totry to assure income via mixing various activities such as product processing,the sales of regionally unique products, and green tourism based on agriculturalactivity.In Taiwan, the increase of non-farming income is accomplished by thepromotion of green tourism, the development of the agricultural processingindustry, and rural industrialization.Especially, the government supports to build related infrastructures inthe regional base rather than individual farm household base in order to developgreen tourism, advertises green tourism, and creates the demand of greentourism.
