박기환 박영구 김재한 윤종열 2018-11-15T08:19:39Z 2018-11-15T08:19:39Z 2007-12 M083 http://repository.krei.re.kr/handle/2018.oak/15188 우리 연구원의 농업관측정보센터에서는 주요 채소류 수급 및 가격 전망 정보를 관측월보를 통해 매월 발표하고 있으며, 이를 채소 농가와 관련 기관에 제공함으로써 농산물의 수급안정에 기여하고 있다. 그러나 개방화 이후 농산물 수입이 급증하고 있는 가운데, 특히 고추, 마늘, 양파, 당근은 최근 중국으로부터 수입량이 크게 증가하고 있어 이들 외국산이 국내 농산물 수급과 가격 형성에 커다란 영향을 미치고 있다. 이 때문에 농업관측정보 제공에 있어 수입량 예측이 중요한 과제로 대두되었다. 본 연구의 목적은 최근 수입 급증으로 국내수급 및 가격에 영향을 미치는 주요 채소류의 월별 수입수요함수의 보완?개발로 보다 정확한 가격 예측을 도모하고, 이를 월보에 게재하여 보급함으로써 정보 제공의 효율화를 기하는 데 있다. The imports of vegetables, especially low-priced Chinese ones, are dramatically increasing. The major commodities imported from China, such as red pepper, garlic, onion, and carrot, directly affect the price, demand, and supply of the domestic market. For this reason, the Agricultural Outlook & Information Center has a monitoring system which hires someone to report situation changes of Chinese vegetables in their production, processing and export. The monitoring report is used in preparing Vegetable Outlook Monthly Report. However, the monitoring report has the limitation of not providing detailed statistical data. It just describes the short-term forecasts on Chinese vegetable export to Korea whether it increases or decreases in the next month. Therefore, the purposes of this study are to estimate monthly import demand functions on major vegetables and to provide more informative outlook reports using the estimated results. In estimating the functions, there are some limitations. First, the sample period is not enough to estimate an import demand function because the share of imports in total demands became recently significant. Second, the explanatory variables used in the estimation of import demand functions are restrictive due to unavailability of data.
