강혜정 2018-11-15T08:56:04Z 2018-11-15T08:56:04Z 2008-10 RE31-4-05 http://repository.krei.re.kr/handle/2018.oak/18903 여성농업인의 농업노동시간과 창업결정에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같이 요약될 수 있다. 첫째, 50대, 60대 여성농업인의 농업노동 투입시간이 상대적으로 높은 것으로 나타난 반면, 창업활동 의향은 49세 이하 여성농업인이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 더 젊은 여성농업인일수록, 창업활동을 하려는 의향이 높음을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 농업노동을 더 많이 투입하는 여성농업인의 평균 학력수준은 상대적으로 낮고 노지채소, 과수 등 주로 노동집약적 영농에 종사하는 것으로 나타나, 여성농업인 농업노동의 질적 향상이 요구된다. 이를 위해 여성농업인 전문 인력화를 위한 영농 및 경영교육 지원이 필요하다. 셋째, 과중한 가사노동은 젊은 여성농업인의 영농활동과 창업활동을 가로막는 가장 큰 요인으로 나타나, 여성농업인의 경제활동 활성화를 위해서는 무엇보다도 가사노동 부담을 덜어주는 지원책이 요구된다. 넷째, 컴퓨터 사용 능력 등은 창업활동 결정에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나, 여성농업인의 창업활동 지원 방안으로 컴퓨터를 이용한 정보활용 및 마케팅 교육 등과 같은 전문 경영능력 향상이 중요함을 알 수 있다. 다섯째, 여성농업인의 농업종사인식은 여성농업인의 영농활동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나, 여성농업인의 영농활동 활성화를 위해서는 여성농업인의 직업적 자긍심을 높이는 환경조성이 중요하다. 젊은 여성농업인을 중심으로 활발한 경제활동을 하고자 하는 욕구가 크게 나타나고 있지만 여성으로서, 경제활동 참여자로서 느끼는 장애요인이 존재하는 것이 현실이다. 여성농업인의 경제활동 활성화를 위해서는 여성농업인이 일과 가정을 조화롭게 영위할 수 있도록 가사노동의 부담을 덜어주는 지원 대책과 능력개발을 촉진하는 대책이 우선적으로 필요할 것이다. This paper consists of two analyses related to the economic activities of Korean women farmers. One is to analyze the factors affecting the determination of their farm labor hours. The other is to examine the factors affecting the likelihood of their off-farm enterprise commencement. Measurements are obtained from the estimations of a Heckman’s two stage estimation and a logit model, respectively. The national survey data for the Korean women farmers’ situation conducted in 2003 is used. The empirical evidence suggests that the women farmers in their 40s and 50s relatively work more on farms, especially horticulture, while relatively younger women farmers are more willing to start off-farm work.
