최경환 마상진 윤병석 2018-11-15T09:34:50Z 2018-11-21T01:20:48Z 2010-06 C2010-14 http://repository.krei.re.kr/handle/2018.oak/19385 창의적 체험활동을 강조하고 교육교재의 다양화를 추구하는 초?중등교육의 변화는 농식품 분야를 제대로 알리는 데 좋은 기회가 될 수 있으며, 이를 잘 활용할 필요가 있다. 초?중등학생들이 손쉽게 창의적 체험활동을 하면서 심신을 단련하고 호연지기를 기를 수 있어, 학생들에게는 산교육장이자 무궁무진한 교재를 지니고 있는 분야가 다름아닌 농어업, 농어촌, 농식품 관련 산업이기 때문이다. 그러나 이렇게 급변하는 학교교육 환경에 적절히 대응하기 위해서는 초?중등교육을 지속적이고 체계적으로 모니터링할 수 있는 상시적 시스템을 구축?운영할 필요가 있다. 또한 지금까지의 수동적?소극적 태도에서 벗어나 농식품 분야를 학생들에게 올바로 알릴 수 있도록 보다 능동적?적극적으로 대응할 필요가 있다. 미래의 농어업은 IT, BT 등 첨단 지식과 기술을 융합한 종합산업으로서 앞으로 가장 유망한 산업 분야임을 강조할 필요가 있다. 또한 국민에게 안전한 먹을거리를 안정적으로 공급하는 것은 물론, 삶터, 일터, 쉼터로서의 기능을 다양하게 담당하는 분야라는 점을 적극적으로 이해시킬 필요가 있다. 이를 위해서는 단순히 교과서를 모니터링하는데 그치지 않고 농식품 분야와 관련한 각종 교재 및 체험프로그램을 다양하게 개발?보급하는 것이 중요하다. 이러한 과정을 통해 장차 농식품 분야를 담당할 우수 인력을 확보하고, 농정의 우호적 동반자를 확보하는 기반을 다지는 것은 무엇보다도 중요하고 시급한 과제라고 할 수 있다. The purpose of this study was to develop a monitoring system that can monitor agriculture, fishery and food-related contents of textbooks used in primary and secondary schools. For this purpose, this study reviewed the national curriculum and process of developing and revising primary and secondary school textbooks, including related policies and regulations. Various education and public relations activities of agro-food related institutions and agencies, such as the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MIFAFF) and Rural Development agency (RDA), are analyzed to find out to what extent agriculture, fishery and food-related contents are reflected in the textbooks. This study also investigated comparable cases with respect to other industries and analyzed the contents of primary school textbooks (3rd and 4th grade) to see what and how the contents are covered and whether there are any errors to be corrected. The results of this study suggest to build a monitoring system which is operated by MIFAFF, a monitoring agency, and teachers' study groups with an active and positive perspective toward agriculture, fishery and food industries. The study finds that the suggested monitoring system should be managed on a permanent and stable base and keep track of school curriculums, textbooks and educational materials and programs of schools and other forms of public media. Under the monitoring system, MIFAFF should establish a basic direction for various education and promotion activities and supervise such activities by agriculture, fishery and food industry-related institutions and agencies. Meanwhile, the monitoring agency should play the following roles: reinforce current education and promotional activities; operate teachers' study groups; benchmark against the best practices of foreign countries and non-agricultural sectors; conduct basic research for education and promotion of agriculture, fishery and food industries on a regular basis; assist the publication of textbooks and develop various educational materials; support teachers training; discover and share the best practices in various education settings; conduct public surveys regularly to find out about the public's understanding of agriculture and agro-foods; construct an educational database; and monitor primary and secondary school curriculums. Teachers' study group should monitor textbooks and on-the-field activities of teaching at schools, report problems to the monitoring agency, and conduct research on new agriculture-related educational projects.
