신유진 김성훈 김미숙 2018-11-15T09:58:27Z 2018-11-15T09:58:27Z 2015-06-21 RE38-2-03 http://repository.krei.re.kr/handle/2018.oak/21218 우리나라의 식품제조업은 그동안의 발전 과정에서 산업집중도가 심화되어왔지만, 식품제조업의 산업집중도가 개별기업의 수익성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지에 대한 실증적 분석은 거의 진행되지 못하였다. 본 연구는 식품제조업체 중 시장집중도가 높은 기업이 시장집중도가 낮은 기업보다 평균적으로 수익성이 어떤지를 패널데이터를 사용하여 고정효과모형으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 식품제조업 전반에서 산업집중도가 높을수록 총자산이익률(ROA) 또는 자기자본이익률(ROE)이 유의하게 낮아, 시장의 과도한 독점이 해당 산업 전반의 수익성을 하락시킬 수 있음을 발견하였다. 또한 시장점유율이 높은 기업과 시장점유율이 낮은 기업으로 표본을 나누어 추가분석한 결과, 시장점유율이 높은 기업일수록 수익성이 더 좋을 것이라는 가설을 부분적으로 지지하는 것으로 나타났다. In Korea, food processing business firms have increased the level of concentration in their industry in order to achieve the better efficiency and competitiveness. Even though many researchers think that the level of concentration affects the conditions of business firms, including profitability, few papers tried to study the effect of concentration on profitability in the Korean food processing industry. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effect of concentration on the profitability of food processing business firms. This research conducts the econometric analysis with CR4, Herfindahl index, and index of profitability (ROA, ROE, Gross Margin, Operating Margin).
