권오상 심지민 2023-01-13T16:40:07Z 2023-01-13T16:40:07Z 2022-12-30 RE45-4-1 https://repository.krei.re.kr/handle/2018.oak/29524 본고는 2006~2021년 분기별 ‘가계동향조사’ 자료를 이용해 소비자들의 농식품 소비지출 비중이 어떤 요인에 의해 영향을 받아 결정되는지를 분석하였고, 가구원 수 감소로 대표되는 가족구조 변화가 미치는 영향을 계량분석 하였다. 분석을 위해 신축적인 소비행위를 허용하는 EASI(Exact Affine Stone Index) 수요체계를 추정하였다. 1인과 2인 가구의 구성비 증가는 곡물, 육류, 낙농의 지출 비중을 줄이고 수산물, 과일의 비중을 늘리는 등의 변화를 유발했지만, 두 가구 유형은 일부 품목에서는 서로 반대 방향의 선호도를 보이기도 하였다. 또한 가구 소득, 가구주 연령, 임금 소득자로의 전환, 식품 선호도 변화 등이 식품 소비에 미치는 영향의 방향과 크기도 가족 수에 따라 다르다는 것이 확인되었다. 지난 15년 동안 가족 수, 연령, 소득원 등 여러 특성의 동시적 변화에 의해 발생한 가족구조 변화는 유의한 소비행태변화를 품목별로 초래하였는데, 지속적으로 지출비중이 증가하는 가공식품류 보다는 조리과정을 필요로 하는 곡물, 육류, 수산물, 낙농, 과일, 채소에 미치는 영향이 더 컸다. 그리고 가족구조의 동시적 변화는 육류와 가공식품 소비 비중이 커지는 경향성을 어느 정도 낮추는 역할을 한 것으로 분석되었다. We estimated an EASI (Exact Affine Stone Index) food demand system in Korea using the quarterly data of the period 2006-2021 to investigate the impacts of the family structure on food expenditures. Family structure variables of the model include family size, household head age, and income sources (wage vs. non-wage). The marginal impacts of these household characteristics as well as those of family income and food preference changes over time were estimated. We identified food preference differences among families with a single member, two members, three members, four members, and five and more members. It is shown that both single-member families and two-member families prefer more fishery products and fruits but less grain, meat, and dairy products than large-sized families. However, those two types of small-sized families revealed preferences on processed foods different from each other. Based on the estimation results, we simulated the changes in food expenditures caused by the simultaneous changes in family size, age, and the proportion of wage earners for the last 15 years. It is shown that the family structure change affected fresh food expenditures more than processed food expenditures.
