The purpose of this study is to make indexes to indicate the change of thebreeding intention of the Hanyugwoo rasing farmers in Korea and to make a cleardefinition about the forecasting index. In this paper, four indexes aredeveloped. They are Hanyugwoo's monthly artificial insemination rate,Hanyugwoo's monthly cow slaughter rate, Hanyugwoo's yearly cow slaughter rate,cow breeding management index.The cow breeding management index helps the farmers to choose the breedingtype, cow breeding or fattening. If the farmer makes his decision using the cowbreeding management index, the cow slaughter rate and artificial inseminationrate are determined automatically. So, if the four indexes are syntheticallyanalyzed, we can predict the number of the Hanyugwoo.
