The sociological theory of socialchange can be classified into four major perspectives: functional, Marxian,interactionist, and human ecological perspective. Based on the investigation ofthe previous studies and sociological perspectives of social change, the majorfactors of social change in rural Korea were divided into five:industrialization, urbanization, the change of social values and consciousness,informatization, and globalization. The trend and prospect of social change inrural Korea was investigated in terms of four parts: population, family,economic activity, and community structure. | - |
