4. 맺음말 This study analyzes the German right of farm succession. The German
agricultural succession has its source in traditional hereditary custom.
According to principles of the agricultural succession, hereditary
plough-lands must be succeeded by only one principal heir(Anerbe). But for the
other coheirs(Miterben) an adequate compensation with money should be carried
out.
Originally, the German hereditary system aimed at hindering fragmentation of
lands by the succession. Today, however, it seems that the farm succession
contributes less, than earlier, to improvement of agricultural
structure.
