| dc.description.tableofcontents | The agricultural quasi-wholesale market is a kind of traditional agricultural
wholesale market functioning as terminal market without permission for wholesale
market.
Not so much information is available at it because it has been not under the
government regulation and has not had any duties including transaction record
reporting, even if it performs some significant functions at agricultural
marketing.
Consequently, it has created an important restriction on the implementation
of agricultural marketing policies in Korea.
In this respect, this paper addresses some detail information on the
marketing activities of the wholesalers at the Yungdeungpo area quasi-wholesale
market which is the largest one in Korea, and suggests some measures on the
improvement of agricultural marketing situations including the quasi-wholesale
