dc.description.tableofcontents | China's fruit production increased remarkably over the last two decades. However, the growth trajectory has begun to slow as increased production has met declining prices. This study attempts to provide current situation and perspectives in production, consumption, trade, prices, and processing in Chinese fruit industry. China is scheduled to join the WTO in the near future, impling China will significantly impact on world fruit market. Chinese fruit industry will threat Korea in a moment because Chinese fruits have relative advantages in terms of prices, although the quality is low compared to Korean fruits. Korea has to make efforts to differentiate Korean fruits from Chinese ones. | - |
