dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to analyze the determinants affecting Korean farmers' choice of adaptation measures to climate change using multinomial logit model. The major findings of this study are summarized as follows. First, the results indicate that 70.7 percent of farmers have adapted to climate change and 29.3 percent of farmers have not adapted to climate change. Second, the results show that farmers prefer changing the varieties and the seed/harvest time in order to adapt to climate change. Third, the findings also indicate that experience, cultivated area, successor to farming, use of computer and Internet, number of farmer organizations, farm household income, extensional education, and use of smartphone have a significant impact on adaptation to climate change. | - |
