용도차별화 AIDS모형을 이용한 가공식품 수요 분석

Abstract

소비자의 식품구매 결정에서 식품의 용도는 매우 중요한 요인임에도, 식품 수요와 관련된 대부분의 연구는 품목별 구분에 의해서만 식품 수요를 분석해왔다. 소비자의 식품구매 행태를 정확하게 분석하려면 식품을 용도에 따라 분류하고 분석할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 UDAIDS모형과 가계부 자료를 이용하여 우리나라의 가공식품 수요를 추정하였다. 또한 본 연구의 분석 결과는 UDAIDS모형을 이용한 식품 수요 분석이 일반적인 AIDS모형보다 많은 정보를 제공할 수 있음을 제시하였다.

Although consumers take the use of foods into account when they make purchase decisions, most studies on food consumption have analyzed food demand only by food items without considering it. For accurate analysis on food purchase behavior, it is necessary to classify and analyze foods according to their uses. This study estimated processed food demand in Korea by using the UDAIDS (Usage Differentiated AIDS) model and the data of household account books. Also, it conducted a comparative analysis on the estimation results from the AIDS model and the UDAIDS model. Through the analysis, it found that a food demand analysis using the latter produces more accurate results.
