To explore potential application oflegitimate trade measures against GMOs, it visited and compared most relevantinternational agreements and rules for environmental and trade goals.Special attention is given to trade measures potentially applicable toagricultural GMOs under which the provisions of the Cartegena Protocol onBiosafety are comparatively analyzed with the multilateral environmentalagreements (MEAs) and the WTO agreements.-
