In resent years, our society has changed dramatically. Considering
astonishing changes of the society, the trend will be accelerated until the new
world comes.
The new society will be fundamentally different from the current
society. It will be the society pursuing a sustainable development. The
demand and role of the forest resources and forestry will be expanded in the new
society.
This study prepared new tasks of forestry in order for satisfying the
new and growing demand and role of forest resources and forestry in the new
society.
The main concepts of the new tasks are the creation and conservation of
sustainable forest ecosystems, forestry and its related industries raised
as high-tech industries, and providing various services for abundance in peoples
lives.
