The purpose of this study is to make indexes to indicate the change of the
breeding intention of the Hanyugwoo rasing farmers in Korea and to make a clear
definition about the forecasting index. In this paper, four indexes are
developed. They are Hanyugwoo's monthly artificial insemination rate,
Hanyugwoo's monthly cow slaughter rate, Hanyugwoo's yearly cow slaughter rate,
cow breeding management index.
The cow breeding management index helps the farmers to choose the breeding
type, cow breeding or fattening. If the farmer makes his decision using the cow
breeding management index, the cow slaughter rate and artificial insemination
rate are determined automatically. So, if the four indexes are synthetically
analyzed, we can predict the number of the Hanyugwoo.
