- AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to show the sampling method in livestock outlookand the forecasting models, particularly focusing on Korean-cattle outlook.Sampling technique of the livestock farmers is explained in detail, according tostatistical theory. And an example is introduced how to analyze the results ofthe survey. The Korean-cattle forecasting models which have been used for thisoutlook are illustrated. The production function of calf and slaughter functionof cattle, each breeding stock function are estimated. To strengthen the qualityof outlook information, it is necessary to interpret the indexes of farmers'intention dynamically.
