For these purposes, we firstexamine factors affecting the consumption of the fishery products such as theirnutritional characteristics, consumers' attitude about them, and liberalizationof the market for them; second, we look at features in the trend of consumptionby fishery product item; and third, we analyze determinants of the householdexpenditure on the fishery products using the Household Income and ExpenditureSurvey data. Finally, we suggest recommendations for expanding the consumptionof the fishery products.
