미래농업에 대응한 농산업 개념 재정립 연구

Abstract

첨단기술과 농업의 융합이 증가함에 따라 농산업의 범위가 확장되고 있으며, 농산업은 새로운 성장 동력으로 자리 잡고 있음. 새로운 첨단 농산업 분야는 초기 발달단계에 있으므로 적절한 정책지원을 통해 산업 경쟁력 확보와 산업 생태계 구축이 필요한 시점임. 그러나 「농업·농촌 및 식품산업 기본법」에서 정의된 농산업의 범위가 불분명하여, 정책 지원의 충분한 근거를 확보하기 어려운 문제점이 있음.

따라서 이 연구의 주요 목적은 농산업의 개념과 범위를 재정립하고, 이를 바탕으로 농산업으로 인정할 수 있는 기준을 제시하는 것임. 이를 통해 농산업 지원 정책을 실행할 근거 확보와 지원 대상을 파악할 수 있는 기초 자료를 제공하는 것이 주요 목표임.

Purpose of Research ○ As advanced technology and agriculture continue to converge, the agricultural industry is expanding, positioning itself as a new growth driver. Since the high-tech agricultural sector is still in its early stages, it is essential to build competitiveness and establish an industrial ecosystem through proper policy support. However, the vague definition of the agricultural industry in the Framework Act on Agriculture and Rural Food Industry makes it challenging to secure a solid foundation for policy support.

○ The primary aim of this study is to redefine the concept and scope of the agricultural industry and, based on this, establish criteria for recognizing it as part of the agricultural sector. By doing so, the study seeks to provide a foundation for implementing support policies for the agricultural industry and offer essential data to determine the appropriate targets for such support.
