그린바이오 산업의 성장산업화 방안연구(2/2차년도) - 천연물 및 식품소재 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구는 그린바이오 산업 성장산업화 방안연구의 연차별 과제 중, 1차년도 종자·마이크로바이옴 분야에 이어 2차년도의 천연물 및 식품소재 분야를 다룬 연구다. 이 연구에서는 천연물 및 식품소재의 개념과 분류 체계를 면밀히 검토하고, 소재 기업의 실태조사와 국내외 정책·제도 및 사례를 분석하였으며, 이의 분석 결과에 기반해 그린바이오 천연물 및 식품소재 산업의 전 주기 관점에서 성장산업화를 세부 추진과제를 제시하였다.

Purpose of Research ○Amid the intensification of global challenges, including climate change, resource depletion, and food crises, bio-based industries are emerging as a critical alternative. The Green Bio industry, which integrates biotechnology into the agricultural and food sectors, is now globally recognized as a key future industry, driven by major national strategies in the US (National Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing Initiative) and the EU (European Bioeconomy Strategy). This international trend is accelerating the industrialization and market diffusion of biotechnology.
