dc.description.tableofcontentsGreen tourism in Korea was introduced in 1984 to increase farm householdincome.However, it was not so satisfactory. In this respect, some policy measuresfor renovating green tourism are emerging.First, green tourism must be approached by a rural village unit since aKorean farm is not big enough to provide green tourism as in European countries.A rural village could provide natural rural scenery and culture while farmers inthe village could operate BB, farm restaurants, and tourism farms.Second, green tourism must be based on people's interaction betweenrural-urban areas for better understanding each other and vitalize ruralcommunity by visiting people, purchasing farm products and experiencing farmingand rural culture.Third, most rural infrastructure and agricultural development projects mustbe linked to enhancing green tourism in rural community.-
